This immersion in roman culture and the vestiges they have bequeathed us combines a visit to three archaeological sites such as: the Roman theater hidden under the archeological museum, the Roman Temple in Claudio Marcelo St., and a Roman Domus placed in the basement of a hotel in the city of Córdoba. Then, you will experience a relaxing soak in the Roman bath; for that, you will need to bring a change of clothing and your own bathing suit, while the bathrobe and the slippers will be provided by the hotel. Finally, we will taste an elaborate menu containing several plates typical from the Roman period. We will be delighted by some exquisite delicacies and aromas that our ancestors already tasted in the first centuries AD in our city.
Córdoba was declared to be a Patrice Colony in the mid-second century, so it was known as the capital of Roman Baetica for many years, leaving us a large circus in our city. Of this circus, we preserve de temple that presided over it, a large theater, and an amphitheater. The latter is found in the basement of private or public buildings, like most of the remnants that are still preserved along the city.
